Information about the Author

J.R. Ward is a graduate of Smith College who currently lives in Kentucky. Before turning to writing full time, she worked as a lawyer in Boston and also spent many years working as Chief of Staff of one of the premier academic medical centers in the nation.
Though she embarked on a successful legal career following school, J.R. Ward has always had a passion for writing, particularly romance and love stories. After several years of writing novels in her spare time, she finally put her passion first and is now a full-time novelist. A decision that has certainly paid off! The Black Dagger Brotherhood series has landed on both the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists and the internet is buzzing with message boards dedicated to the series. The newest installment, Lover Enshrined will be published in June 2008.
J.R. Ward lives with her husband and their beloved golden retriever and is currently—and happily—at work on the seventh Black Dagger book. Visit her popular website and fan community at www.jrward.com.
